Lunch is good...would not recommend a bacon egg and cheese sandwich however🙄

If you like bacon on your egg sandwich. This is the place.great for lunch food is alway fresh. I been going there for over 30 years.

People that work there have no phone etiquette called to ask question didn’t even identify themselves as wonder bar asked I ask if I was calling wonder bar and was told yeah what Do you want because I busy extremely unprofessional smh

I pass this place every morning on the way to the train and today I popped in for a bagel. Greeted by Jason, he was very sweet and helpful. The menu looks great, can’t wait to try the sausage and peppers!!

In my opinion they make the best Deli salads like Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad and Coleslaw. And they also make very good Sandwiches. Plus they have a variety of other very good foods. I have never gotten a bad meal from there. Ever! And I've been going there for over 20 years.

The chicken Caesar wrap as so pathetically bad, I felt a need to share. A pile of lettuce with a few strips of cold strips of chicken, light grated cheese and little dressing. No attempt to make it good at all. The seafood bisque was good, the only reason for two stars.

Are you guys out of your mind. My business is ordering from you every day of the week and then my wife comes in to order salads for my sons birthday party and you say it’s against ny law to pre pay. I know who took the order and I’ll be there to talk about this. You need to learn how to respect a woman who is simply ordering salads for my sons birthday party. You should be ashamed of yourself!!! Is it too much to ask to show a woman some respect. Seriously. Does it get you off treating a woman with such disrespect. You should be ashamed of yourself

Best cold salads in town. Great reputation in my opinion. Prices are pretty good as well. They have been around for as long as I can remember.

Lots of homemade dishes to choose from. Everything looks very appetizing. Cold cuts and salads are exceptional.

Stopped in for breakfast sandwiches and was disappointed, I wanted home fries on my sandwich and they could only offer frozen deep-fried toaster potato cakes. Although the sandwich had a ton of bacon on it, the bacon was deep fried and it had a nasty taste of the old oil. 2 bacon & egg sandwiches came to almost $14. I won't be coming for breakfast anymore.

this is 1 of the best delis on Long Island period. all good is perfect, svc is fast and friendly.. 1 of the last true delicatessens left...

Great salads and sandwiches...

My nasty breakfast sandwhich was covered in so much GREASY bacon it made it NOT enjoyable. One would think extra bacon that I had NOT ordered would normally be great. Not this time and when I called to tell the owner he just gave me a nasty answer. "WE make all of our sandwhiches this way"..kk..got it Mr. Nasty.

I previously rated this place 5 stars because I loved the salami and eggs on a roll for $3.49. Unfortunately, I didn't have a pleasant experience the last time I was there (food related). I'm not going to bash the place because everyone has a bad day and accidents happen. 9/10 times this place is probably great. Check the date on the candy bars. Some are over a year or two expired. I also think they need to take notes from other delis that have signature sandwiches. Sometimes I have no idea what I want. A list of sandwiches would be smart. The place is kinda dated too.EDIT: in seeing another review about bacon, the bacon is terrible. I think it's a Canadian bacon or something? Tastes funky. Just my opinion, other people might love it

The BEST breakfast specials & incredible steam table anywhere!

Lived there for 30 years, we were regulars weekly. Now moved to Florida, can not find potato salad that even comes close to the BEST from Wunderbar. I would pay "BIG BUCKS" for their recipe. 😁

hey guys i love your egg sandwich’s , but can you please improve on the bacon quality? i used to be so happy and felt like i was getting hooked up with delicious bacon , i would be will to pay a dollar more for not over cooked inedible bacon .

High priced deli, everything is good except for the BACON, it is absolutely horrible!! They pile a ton on and it’s hard to chew, and taste rancid. Please stop making the bacon however you have been making it, everyone I speak too mentions how bad it is. Make this deli good again

HORRIBLE Food!This would have been two stars if the person who took our complaint call was at all caring, because the employee who served us was fantastic. Note regarding customer service: hanging up on someone is NOT the way to get a customer to give you another chance.Just went to Wunderbar on a review from July 2017. Perhaps Wunderbar has gone downhill in the past year, because our egg sandwiches were HORRIBLE. They said they'd be over easy eggs on 3 of them...They were over hard. The bacon was a lump of tasteless, overcooked, dry meat. When we called to complain, the man said, "Oh, sorry about that." And he hung up on us. The only redeeming meal was the French toast, but when you only get LI egg sandwiches once a year, it totally ruined the day. We each threw out half our sandwich (ate just enough to not be starving). We will be going back to North Side Deli or Miller Place's Better on a Bagel to redeem this horrendously disgusting breakfast.Don't waste your money on Wunderbar!!!

Great sandwiches

Use to love this deli, great egg sandwiches and salads. Today, the worst egg sandwich I have ever eaten. We could not finished them, you can taste the fat. How can you screw up an egg sandwich?

Best roast beef ever. Have yet to find another sandwich shop that serves as fine of roast beef as they do. It is prepped in-house. We go there every summer when visiting my mother.

Great deli!! Always come here for a pit stop when I'm in the area and want a quick lunch. Cold cuts are fresh and always sliced perfectly. Not the cheapest, but it's worth the money.

Overrated if you ask me. I've been there a few times for a ham & swiss sandwich, the ham & swiss were on the light side. From the reviews I read. I expected a nicely filled roll. Then I went back for a second try and ordered a Reuben, it was way too salty to enjoy so the garbage, unfortunately, ate the other half!! 🙄

Basically I go out of my way to go to this Deli. The bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich that they make is hands-down the best one I've ever had. From what I can tell on my sandwich the bacon is a thick cut and they pile it on the sandwich like you ordered a pound of it. I highly recommend this Deli to everybody

The Wonder bar is bus stop if you're in Port Jefferson . Best roast beef I found driving all the way across our great country.Rich.
